10月1日 Sunny SpainHi Folks, I know it's been a while, sorry about that. I am now writing to you from my hotel in Punta Umbria Spain. Time is running out as I have to put a coin in to speak to you. Roger & I are having a relaxed time in the sunshine and he is going out on trips Bird watching and already has seen 57 different species, Flamingoes and an Osprey hunting being just two of them. I am charging around on my mobility scooter......to everyones surprise...never been seen here in Spain I don't think. I get a variety of reactions...people either walk straight in front of me or else they bend over backwards to help!! We have a World Badminton Tournament being held here and there are delegates from all over the world....so as you can imagine I get quite a reaction. The noise at mealtimes with all the different languages is quite something. Well I must sign off, but I will Blog you again soon. Byeeeee from me  XX8月30日 Grandma's little AngelsWell, once again I can hardly believe I am here 'blogging' again. There is an amazing ammount of people creating such wonderful blogs that I feel quite inadequate.....so I decided that my little Angels are worth blogging about as they do not make me feel inadequate at all. I rather feel that we have a reluctant Teddy Bear brother in the photo here....the Angel definately wants to do something to him, or play with a toy that he was planning to have all to himself.....but when you are in that very vulnerable postion, I guess there is very little a teddy can do about it...right now....but just wait until I get bigger!!! 8月19日 How I would like to feel today !!8月9日 Todays ThoughtWhatever is true, whatever is noble,

You know what my dear friends reading my blog today....Those words from the Lords book are just so true....and how often do we just stop and think about all the good things that are going on in our lives. We get caught up in the media news and the government hicups..and all the bills that are constantly coming thru' our letter boxes, especially the bank statements!! and how down we are all feeling because of it all. But do you know..no one can ever take away from us, the wonder and the joy of knowing that the Lord loves us so much, that He died for us, so that we can be forgiven for all the wrongs that we have done. How wonderful is that!! These words from Phillipians (above) just say it all. Please read them again...and think about them. 8月2日 Sheer BlissHi Again,
I can hardly believe that I am here again really, but 'hey ho' if my daughter does it then so can I !!
Well today my sitting room looks WONDERFUL the TV WORKS !!1 Yipee!!, we have cleared out a whole load of rubbish and my dear husband has been putting everything back in it's place. I should add that he has to do it for me because at this moment in time I am suffering with a severe dissability which stops me from moving around very quickly and easily without actually falling over!! It's not that I am being lazy, but I am really Blessed with a Truly Wonderful husband who is so happy to do all these things for me. (In any case I can easily move little items to where I want them....when he is not at home !) I wouldn't want to upset him for the world because that is what he is to me. We can't enjoy our room together tonight tho' because we are off to our Church's 5th Anniversary, which will be lovely in it's self. We joined our church 4 years ago when it was just a baby and we have been so Blessed since then. Our daughter found a wonderful hunky South African husband and has presented us with two more beautiful Grandchildren aged 2 years and 1 year.....you can imagine the mischief that brings. Our son met and married his wife there last year and they are now having a baby in December so lots and lots of Joy to Praise the Lord for this day. We have made lots of new friends during that time and it will be great to join with them and all the people that have been invited to celebrate the marvel of Gods work in His world. In the meantime we have to get ready to go and look after Grandma & Grandads little Angels while their Mummy helps prepare for tonight....I see that Grandad has sneaked in to have a crafty 'snooze' Bless him he is worn out !! Oh well, I'll let him stay there for now and get him a nice sandwich to wake up too. Bye for now 8月1日 New to me!!Well I can hardly believe that I am doing this ! My daughter is an avid 'Blogger' and is always trying to get me to Blog, so here goes.
It is the first day of August and my home is upside down, because I have the carpet fitters replacing my living room carpet. The TV is in the hallway, will I ever get it to work the same again......all those leads and funny shaped thingy's where did they fit into? No good asking my husband Roger, he is wonderful at most things but not with anything 'techno' so it will be up to me!!!!! ugh. Then there is the 3 piece suite.....turned upside down and on it's side in the hallway!! no room for me to get my walking aid trolley thr'....well I did with a bit of a 'push', because I just had to get myself down here into the sanctuary of my computer cum craft cum everything room. Couldnt cope with all those men with their big toolboxes, shutting me out of my lovely living room. Then there is the bedroom next door....my lovely husband has filled it to the brim with the entire contents of the living room....oooooh will I ever find anything again. Anyway here I am and feel that I have been backed into the corner to do this 'blogging'lark. But it hasnt been too bad....in fact I could get to like it. The carpet men have finished now.....I must venture forth and take a look. Then.........oh well move it all back in again I suppose. Anyway it kept me out of mischief for a little while. |
